Private Services with Laura

Whether your goal is to lose extra weight, unify the body & mind, or to  simply enrich your yoga practice, private sessions can help you reach your goals

I will honor you throughout your private sessions with guidance, knowledge and support to help you reach your best self.

My teaching centers on helping students achieve mind-body healing.  I specifically focus on helping students learn to monitor their thinking and choose positive thoughts to create holistic, positive life changes.

Other areas of concentration are:

  • Relieving muscle tension and general tightness throughout the body
  • Using the breath to transport healing energy to the areas of the body that needs it most.
  • Obtaining complete relaxation
  • Rejuvenating body, mind and soul
  • Facilitating inspiration and empowerment to achieve one’s full physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual potential
  • Creating a sense of internal balance, union and completeness

About Laura Blomquist, RYT...

Laura began practicing yoga in 1999 after her podiatrist recommended it to heal a running injury.   Not only did it heal her running injury, it healed her mind and her heart as well.

Originally from Chicago, Laura relocated to St. Petersburg in 2004 with her Fiancé, Rob Kral.  After spending several years working in Social Work and then the corporate world, Laura realized her passions lay elsewhere.  A yearlong battle with a health issue that precluded her from driving helped her realize she needed to pursue a career in line with her values and passions.  Thus, she left the corporate world to pursue an education in yoga.

Laura obtained her 200-hour yoga certification through the Adiaya Yoga Sanctuary Teacher Training Program in the fall of 2007.  She is now a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and teaches groups and private clients with Living Room Yoga.
