2005-08.  For a manufacturer of organic lotions and cosmetics, purchased raw materials, packaging and supplies.  Responsible for the company's obtaining its Organic Certification.

 

Community Coordinator, EurAuPair, Washington D.C., 2001-03.

EurAuPair is an intercultural child care program officially designated as an exchange visitor program by the US government. Interviewed and qualified prospective host families and aupairs, conducted orientations, mediated problems, planned and implemented cultural events, created and maintained records.

 

Sales Representative, The Joan Carol Design Group, northern and eastern Virginia, 1994-95.  Sold exhibit hardware and design services from different manufacturers,  Cold called potential customers, developing new accounts, serviced established clients, conducted demonstrations of exhibit products, performed back-end sales, exhibited at trade show, represented company at Chamber events to establish new clients. Top sales representative, July and October 1995, second in June and September. Received manufacturers’ incentive awards for sales achievements.
